Below are fixtures for all ladies competitions
This week's competitions are a choice of either an 18 hole or 9 hole Stableford Q competition. In addition to the standard competition, a collection on the day will be held for Macmillan.
Playing Handicap (strokes received) = 95% of course handicap

Upcoming weekend competitions: Saturday 3rd October - Greenkeepers Benefit Stableford (Mixed) or Alternate Day Stableford Finals
Mixed Medal with men playing from the white tees and ladies from the red tees.
Qualiifier for the Men's Eclectic (best gross and nett scores at each hole over all Thursday and Saturday Medals to October) and the Gosling Cup (best 6 aggregate gross and net rounds over the same events) for which there is no separate entry fee.

Our annual fundraiser in support of the Captains' Charities.
A team Am-Am stableford, with the best two scores to count on each hole. Men will play off the white tees and ladies off red tees.
Playing Handicap (strokes received) = 85% of Course Handicap, subject to a maximum Course Handicap of 36 for men and 45 for ladies. Players with higher handicaps may enter but will receive shots based on these limits.

Any silver or bronze winners over the year qualify for the Stableford finals. Eligible players will be notified by the Competition secretary prior to play. There is no additional charge for the Stableford Finals.

18 hole Greensomes Medal, men playing from the White tees, Ladies playing from the Red tees.
Playing Handicap (strokes received) = 40% of the higher Course Handicap plus 60% of the lower Course Handicap, subject to a maximum Handicap Index of 39.8 for men and 45 for ladies. Players with higher handicaps may enter but will receive shots based on these limits.
Each player in a group tees off as normal and the best tee shot is then selected and alternate shot is played until the completion of the hole.
Countback will initially be determined using the team handicap limit calculated to 1 decimal place. If this does not produce a result then the usual back 9, back 6, back 3...etc will be used.

Waltz: For first hole 1 to count, for second hole 2 to count, for third hole 3 to count. Sequence repeated until all holes played.
Playing Handicap (strokes received) = 85% of course handicap for team waltz (normal 95% for 8 Hole Stableford)

American Greensomes Medal, men playing from the Purple tees, Ladies playing from the Red tees.
Both players tee off then play a shot using partners ball. Select the best 2nd shot then play alternate shots.
Countback will initially be determined using the team handicap limit calculated to 1 decimal place. If this does not produce a result then the usual back 9, back 6, back 3...etc will be used.

ClubV1 will automatically calculate your pair's 18 hole Playing Handicap (which is 60% of lowest Course Handicap plus 40% of highest Course Handicap - subject to an adjustment for ladies to reflect the higher course rating from ladies red tees - i.e. complicated!). All subject to a maximum Handicap Index of 31.2 for men and 39.8 for ladies. Players with higher handicaps may enter but will receive shots based on these limits.

14 hole Texas Scramble Medal, men playing from the Purple tees, Ladies playing from the Red tees.
Playing Handicap (strokes received) = 25%/20%/15%/10% of the Winter Course Handicaps ranging from 25% of the lowest handicap to 10% of the highest handicap. All subject to a maximum Handicap Index of 31.2 for men and 39.8 for ladies. Players with higher handicaps may enter but will receive shots based on these limits.
Any countback will initially be determined by exact team handicap allowance. Each individual handicap allowance is calculated to 1 decimal place and added together, multiplied by 7 and divided by 9 before rounding the total to 1 decimal place.
Each player in the team tees off as normal and the best of these shots is then chosen to be used for the next shot. Each member of the team hits their shot from that spot and this process continues until the hole is played out.
Each player should take at least 3 drives. Mark the score for the hole in the column of the player whose tee shot was used.
