7 players competed for the title of 7-ball snooker champion.

Two hours of play whittled this down to the four best: Steve 'the whirlwind' Wilson who won straight into the final; and, in the playoffs, Paul 'the summit' Northridge, Ron 'the rocket' Tinson and, Kieran 'the hero' Kelly.

In the final, Kieran could not repeat his earlier heroics when he was the only player to beat Steve and lost to the worthy overall winner -
