Horsley Lodge AWAY MATCH RESULT Tuesday 10th June 2025

"Vice-Captain Phil Harrison took the Captain's armband for the first time for the away match at Horsley Lodge. He and Richard Bursztyn led the team off to a good start, using the novelty of receiving lots of shots (for once) to win 5 & 4. 
The remaining matches were a bit tougher in the wind and on Horsley Lodge's undulating greens, yielding just one more half point from Stu Thompson and Malcolm Leivers. The final result was Horsley Lodge GC 6½ and Beeston 1½, but it was a grand day out on a very good course. As Phil said (maybe slightly tongue-in-cheek), it's taking part and having a good time that's more important than the result!!! The full results are in the News Section.
