The Eric Gibson Claret Jug 2023

The first junior competition of the season went well with Amelia Nugent achieving a first by retaining the trophy with a score of 36 points in very challenging conditions. A fine performance indeed.  Young Leo Browne won the 9 hole event with a score of 54 and the 5 hole competititon was won by Aiyush Raj with 33 strokes recorded. 

The event is held in memory of Eric Gibson, a past captain of Beeston Fields and the Junior Organiser for a number of years and is supported by Richard Hayden.  Everyone had a great time with some superb golf being played, so a big well done and thank you to all involved.
