Winter Local Rules Update - from Saturday 30th March 2024

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped to protect the course over the winter with the use of fairway mats.  With the main playing season fast approaching and the grass growing strongly, it’s time to put those mats away!  With effect from Saturday 30th March, the only winter temporary local rule in force will be Preferred Lies on all areas mown to fairway height (if in doubt, play the ball as it lies!).  Mats will not be permitted in competitions or in general play rounds for handicap purposes from this Saturday onwards.  Preferred Lies will continue until further notice.  Please replace divots.

As a short term temporary measure, given the unprecedented rain, the Competitions Committee may specify that preferred lies will be available through the general area (ie all areas other than greens/hazard areas) in a non-qualifying competition.
